What I’m Currently Reading…

I love listening to audiobooks while I commute to work, and I listen to a book and a half each week.

This week, I am listening to Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I read the novel in college, and it had a profound impact on my life to the extent that I became an English teacher. I also wrote my own creature novel for middle school students. If you haven’t read it, it’s The Hopping Dead and is available on Amazon and through Audible. In fact, I open the book with a quote from Frankenstein.

I look forward to finishing this book today on my drive home, and then I plan on watching the new Frankenstein movie on Netflix. My youngest son encouraged me to watch it because he knows I love this book so much. I even have Frankenstein’s Creature and the Bride as pillows on my couch, and one day, I plan on getting tattoos of them, as well.
